Practical Ways on How To Deep Clean Your House

Having a clean house is every person’s dream. However, because of differing circumstances, you can find yourself overwhelmed with clutter and have no idea where to start. As it’s not natural to live in filth, sooner or later you will desire to have a clean house. Below are simple steps on how to deep clean your house.
Clean the Bedroom
The bedroom is often the most neglected place in the house because it’s not under scrutiny from outsiders.  To clean, start by de-cluttering and ensuring dust bunnies have nowhere to hide. Clear and make the bed. Clean the legs of the bed and the headboard. Move the dresser and any other heavy furniture you might have and vacuum these spots.
Now that any major problems are completed move over and do a quick wipe on the mirrors and the dresser tops. Pay special attention to your side tables especially any charging and side table lamp cables and clear them up. Lift your side table lamps and clean underneath. Vacuum beaded shades to prevent build up and follow it up with a damp cloth. For metal shades, a soft damp cloth will be sufficient.

Slime and scum are some of the surprises you will encounter in your bathroom. Common problem areas are the tub and the shower. Start by cleaning or replacing your shower caddy. Use some toothbrush for some good old fashioned scrubbing and clean out your shower head. For mildew and scum, invest in some heavy duty cleaner.
Move over to the sinks and countertop and ensure you scrub away any dirt and pay attention to the faucets. As you are in the bathroom, don't forget to clean the toilet. Move to the mirrors and light fixtures and depending on the kind of lighting you have, either dust or use a wet cloth.
 Clean the Front porch
As most porches aren’t screened in, they are more susceptible to be affected by environmental elements. Clear the dust, pollen and any bugs that are sticking at the inside of the roof of your porch. As you do this, ensure you clean any light fixtures you have.
Clean plastic shades with a dishwashing solution and dust any parchment shades with an eraser to remove marks. Clean any furniture you might have with some water. Spot clean any cushions that you might have and clear and clean the rest of the furniture leaving them dry and polished.

Finally, in the living room start by tackling the couch and tidy and straighten the cushions. Vacuum and clear out any food particles between the seats. Clear all the tables and wipe them. With a wet rug clean down under the tables and clean the legs of any accumulating dust.
Move over to the floor and use a vacuum cleaner or a broom to get under the furniture. Mop the floor with a damp mop and move any floor shade lamp and clean under there also.  If the globes are made of glass, lightly dust it or remove and wash the globes in the dishwater.
Conclusion
Unless you are living in an extremely dusty area, cleaning the drapes and blinds isn’t an everyday chore. If you have lampshades all over your house, pay special attention to the lamp, sconces and ceiling lights. When cleaning, focus on the bulb and the base. Overall, if you find the cleaning routine too extreme to tackle in one day, break it up and clear every room on its day.
